Plenty of Gangs - A Necromunda Day Campaign

Okay hive scum. Grab your kit and get ready, we've got a hive to rule

Welcome to Plenty of Gangs, a day campaign held at Plenty of Games. The idea behind the event is to have players enjoy a fast paced, story focussed, and beginner friendly Necromunda campaign that takes place entirely in a single day. We will be using the latest Necromunda Skirmish rules, with some slight Arbitrator rules changes to make the campaign work as a single day event

The format will be 5 cycles (2 games, the mid campaign break, then 2 more games) (see Core Rules pg123). Cycles are FIXED to 90 minutes (15 minute pregame (pg56), 1 hour of play (pg59), 15 minute postgame (pg88))

To speed games, we’ll be strictly adhering to the following milestones:

• 15 minute pre game
  •  Scenario creation, gang selection, objective placement, gang deployment etc
• 60 minute game time
  • Cheese it!! If time expires, the Arbites have arrived and all the gangers flee. Determine if there was a winner and loser, or if it’s a draw.
  • All gangers are assumed to flee, crawl away, or get carried away by their gang mates.
• 15 minute post game
  • Injury rolls, xp gains, new abilities, etc.
  • -Challenges issued for next cycle

Tables and terrain will be predetermined and relevant to the territory being played for.

What will you need?

• Your starting Gang roster, following the Gang Creation rules (Core Rules pg96) - We recommend using paper print outs
• Your gang models
• Necromunda Dice
• Measuring tape / tools
• Positive Attitude 🙂

Campaign rules

• Keep things simple! - There isn’t enough time to get really into the weeds. Starter crew sets are ideal.
• Story over Power - Try to make decisions based on “what would this character do” rather than “what is the best, strongest, most overpowered thing I can do”
• Starting credit limit of 1000 credits
• No Vehicles or Mounted Fighters (at least not for this one)
• No gang territories
• Randomly assigned starting territory
• The first cycle is randomly assigned. After this, players make challenges
• A player can only be challenged once, must accept it, and must be issued. ie. everyone must play in every cycle

As the first event of this nature for the store, there will probably be a learning curve. With a focus on fun and story telling, we're hoping this is a great day to learn Necromunda, learn about your gang, and be the start of a grand story for Plenty of Gangs
