BL3328 RALDORON: REVENANT (HB)

A Horus Heresy Character Series Novel

The First Captain of the Blood Angels Legion is tested as never before, commanding a contingent of fresh inductii in a desperate battle. Will he be able to lead them in mastering their new thirsts, or will they return to the loathsome customs from before Sanguinius transformed the IX Legion into something noble and true?

READ IT BECAUSE
It's a fascinating look at what the Red Thirst means to the Blood Angels, and it provides context on the efforts of the Legion to assist the defence of Terra before the Warmaster could even reach it.

THE STORY
Raldoron, First Captain of the Blood Angels, is renowned the Imperium over as one of the greatest swordsmen in all the Space Marines Legions. Though outwardly calm, calculating, and decisive, the Archien of Wisdom's iron self-control hides a bloody past.

As primarch Sanguinius leads the Imperial Reprisal Fleet to the Garmon Cluster to slow the traitor Horus' relentless advance upon Terra, Raldoron is forced to rely on unblooded inductii, rapidly recruiting as many men as possible from the cluster's war zones. These new warriors could very well be the future of the Blood Angels, if they can follow the Archien's shining example and master the Red Thirst. But their violent nature threatens a return to the past, revealing the half-forgotten horrors of the Revenant Legion for all the galaxy to see…
